I try not to be so self-interested to post too many photos of myself and call them art, but I just like this one too much. Oh, and this was the only good photo I took today, so that adds to it a little bit.

Continuation
This cactus is still blooming [see {here} if you've forgotten]. I still love it. Also I love the horsetail. It is a favorite of mine.

Crepes
This tree is called crepe myrtle. Every year it blooms these really neat purple flowers. I remember the days when it was so much smaller... those days seem not that long ago. Constantly I am surprised at how long ago things happened and how much older I really am. It is kind of amazing to see a tree grow up just as I have.

New Material
I'm taking care of the Farr's home right now while they're on vacation. I went over to take care of the plants and maybe test out their new pool. I couldn't resist the opportunity to take some photos in a new environment. I think the tree house is my favorite. Also, I don't generally have my camera in the car, and I had been envisioning some self portraits while driving... which may or may not be a serious faux pas while driving, but I was focused on the road while I snapped photos, so I figure its kosher.

Century Chic
I don't really know what this thing is, but it's pretty awesome. It's kind of like an avant garde century plant, and this is its bloom... except that this isn't its dying masterpiece, but rather a yearly bloom. Regardless, this spring/summer season is still making me really happy with the blooming plants and warming weather.

Shot in the Dark
I went to the doctor because of my sinus weirdness lately. Well, I needed to get a shot to be all up to date and safe from disease, and this was the neato band-aid! Also, we have this beastly house plant thing that looks like belongs in a jungle.

Baker on the Roof
All of these were taken on the roof. I was trying to get some good ones of the palo verdes in the neighborhood, but it didn't work very well. There were no Zacs harmed in the taking of these photographs.

Ugly Duckling
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: The desert is a wonderful place. From some of the strangest and often times ugly plants stem (literally) some really astounding things. Nature never ceases to amaze me with the things it produces, especially in an area with about 12 inches of rainfall annually. Cactus flowers are so unique and interesting, with there zillions of little stamens and et cetera. I love them. I love the desert. I love the earth.

Jungle Book
I love that my backyard is like a jungle (depending on where you stand). It made for a wonderful childhood. Anything was possible. No wonder my imagination is still going berserk as an "adult." I don't think I'll ever truly be an adult. Who wants to be one of those anyway?

I Love to See the Temple
We went to the Gila Valley Temple open house. It was so awesome. I had never been to an nopen house before, so it was neat to go through and see how awesome the temple is.

Help!
I need somebody, help! Not just anybody...
Here's why:
Here's why:
- I have no idea what I should photograph. I'm tired of these crazy macro shots of flowers. Any suggestions?
- No one is commenting and it kind of makes me sad. Evidently I am just as dependent on the feedback of others as I had thought. Oops.
- I like bullet points but rarely get to use them.
