Fall Cleaning

Today I gave a talk in church. It went well, and everyone has been really nice to compliment me all day about it, which I find funny since everything I said wasn't nearly as elegant as what I had actually written on the paper. But, I figure it's better this way because it was more natural for me to just say what I wanted to say to everyone instead of reading my talk word for word.

I got home and cleaned my room. Several things happen simultaneously when I clean my room. First, I get really happy. I like feeling productive and seeing that things are cleaner because I worked at it. Second, I love my room even more. I have a really cool room. It's the simple truth about that. It's even more cool when it looks like its ready for a magazine photo shoot (it's never actually that clean, but I'm getting there...). Third, because of a combination of the first two, I want to spend time in my room, even though I don't know that I really have anything to actually do in there.

Without further ado, I present today's photos. Zac's room = Zac. These photos sum me up and all of the feelings I described above.

I'm hanging out in my room. Also, I got a new shirt yesterday. I love it. I obviously go on a lot of dates with a cute face like that, eh?

On a completely random note, I bought an 8GB Memory Stick. It can hold 1600 photos. Worth every penny.

Walls

I have really fun things on each of the four walls in my room. I've actually showcased all but one, I think, which you can see {here}. I can't quite decide which wall is my favorite because they each have something specific to them that I freaking love, but this wall was feeling good at this particular moment.

Past/Present/Future

It would be really really hard to find someone who is more nostalgic than I am. For serious. I think a big reason why I don't want to get old and married is because things right now are so fun - we have such a neat group of friends with such a cool dynamic. Granted, I don't really comprehend the upsides to marriage and eternal companionship because I've never participated in either, so my opinion is probably not the best one to be listening to. Regardless, I love me some nostalgia.

Pin Up

People say, "You are what you eat," right? So, is the same true about what you put on your bulletin board? I think it is. My bulletin board completely sums up what makes a Zac - lots of photographs of fun times and people that I love, a few notes to keep things in perspective, a calendar and receipt to remind myself about FHE, and a pinch of art just for interest's sake. I sure hope I'm not equivalent to what I eat (heaven knows, that would not be a pretty sight), but I would definitely settle for "You are what you put on your bulletin board." Looks like I'm already myself, if that's the case.
