Don't you just love putting on some of your favorite clothes, feeling really good about the way you look? Yeah, today was one of those days.

Threads

I got three pairs of shoes for my birthday. I'm in love. And sound like a girl, but it doesn't matter. Looking good is a priority, you know? As Big Mike puts it on Chuck, "In order to get your head right, you've got to get your threads right." That definitely includes shoes.

Zoot Suit

This one time, I went to church for what seemed like my whole entire life. Come to think of it, that's happened more than once. I like church, I really do. But man, it's nice to come home.

Crops

Blast it all. I haven't once cropped a photo for the blog. I really try hard to make a photograph perfect without editing it. I do occasionally bump up the contrast to make the color more interesting, but if the framing isn't just right, I don't usually fix it. And, in all reality, I've trained myself to work on the framing while I take the shot so that cropping is unnecessary. Well... today that all changes. This was all I could even muster as I got home and realized I hadn't taken one artistic picture all day long. And because I couldn't see the screen when I took it, I had to crop it. But that's life, and the wonders of a computer. Oh, and for some reason of another, I think Converse really are the most interesting shoes. I think it's because of how classic they are, but also because of how simple they are.

What To Do...

I took my final in my 9 AM class last week, so I didn't have class until 12 today. It was awesome. This is what I saw while I loafed around the house.

Here's Gary! I still laugh when I see him. I think he's 24 days old... but I might be off by a week. I can't remember, but he's still got plenty of little grass sprouts coming up!

Coming Together

So Kendle painted me that super cool picture of my high-tops right? Well, to hang underneath it, I have a wide picture frame that holds 5 4x6s. I was thinking that some of these will be what go in that frame. I haven't decided, but I like the pictures when I put them in there. It would come together nicely above my desk. :)
