My dad and I came to the conclusion that doves are just vermin that can fly. However, it was hard to deny the photo opportunity when I found these eggs in an empty 1 gallon bucket amongst my dad's little plant nursery behind our back wall. I particularly love the stark contrast between the nest makings and the white eggs.

doves are not bad. i am particularly fond of them. pigeons on the other hand.... yeah. they are a little scary. be nice to the doves. let them have little dove babies. i bet you threw these against the ground and laughed. shame-a shame-a. but it is a truly beautiful picture...
I did no such thing! I am a lover of all creatures (with a few notable exceptions). It might be fetal vermin but it deserves a shot at life.
