Tempered

I don't know if I've blogged my front door before. If I have, I don't remember. My whole life is jumbled up in this blog and it's hard to keep track of things sometime. Anyway, my front door is positively fantastic. I really do love everything about it.

Knifty Loomer

Have you ever made those hot pads? You know, where you have a little loom with hooks and those little stretchy fabric things? Well Macki and I made some on Sunday, so I thought I'd share how excellent mine turned out. And yes, there is a pattern, it's just kind of hard to decipher. Also, that glass ball is a neat thing we got for my mom for Christmas way back when, but I still like it a lot.

Making a Splash

This is the accent tile in our backsplash in the kitchen. It's kind of awesome.

On Fourth

Macki and Rusty came into town, and none of us had been to the 4th Avenue Street Fair. It was super fun. Not much of it was my style, but there were some really neat things. The little metal guys were so cool. My favorite was of a flying pig. I didn't get a picture of him, but I did get one of his little buddies (photo 3). I wish I could have spent some more time taking photographs, but I was trying not to hold everything up. Haha.

Where's the Bathroom?

There is a wall at work that is probably 8 feet high made entirely out of these glass squares! It doesn't look outside or anything, which would be super cool. Instead, it disguises the restrooms on the other side of it. Haha.

Dinner

We had Christmas dinner tonight (Christmas Eve) instead of tomorrow because Kyle has to work tomorrow night. But it was all very delicious (and what does it really matter what day you eat all the good stuff? haha).

Salt Lake was so much poopin' fun. I want to go back.
