Bright Spot

Day number two of class was excellent for basically one reason... It rained. It hailed. The streets flooded. I got drenched. :)  It was really exciting to walk around and drive around in the rain. It was a really great little pick-me-up in the afternoon. The only downside to the rain was that it took me forever to get home. 25 miles per hour is a little slow, don't you think? That's how fast most of my commute was.

This morning, the weather was lovely. As evidenced by these pictures. I was so excited to go for a run when I got home. Yeah, it's raining now. No running. Hopes dashed. I do love that poppy though...

Water Drops

On my way to school it was raining. I loved it. As I sat at a red light, looking out my window, I couldn't help but think of that friends where Joey and Chandler are mad at each other (or something like that). Chandler gazes out of his window as the rain hits the glass, and it appears that Joey is doing the same. Only, as the camera zooms out, he's just sitting behind a piece of glass that is part of a little fountain in his apartment. I started laughing. I did not laugh when all of the rain went away, but at least everything is beautiful and clear now. I do love the world after a good rain.

Wash Up

The rain came in and made everything lovely. I'm all cleaned up, the earth is all cleaned up, the river on the west side is all cleaned up... I love the rain.

The rain was so dang cool today. I used an umbrella!

Slip and Slide

Yesterday's weather was bizarre, but today's was downright pleasant! Never above 60 degrees, lots of gray clouds, and wet ground. I love it. I wore my big coat and my new scarf. It was a good day.

It rained today for the first time in entirely too long. The car was looking all types of neat with the water on it.
