The Blogger --

Zac: I'm consistently a hot mess, but I'm having a pretty good time with life regardless.

Presently -- My Current Blog and Life

According to Zac

History --

I try to be an artist with the camera, since I'm positively unartistic otherwise. I'm 20 years old and have always been interested in photography. I am a journalism major, and ideally will someday be a photographer and writer for a car magazine, though I'm not really holding my breath for that to happen any time soon. Here is a photo for every single day, so you can see my life through the lens.

Experience --

"You don't take a photograph, you make it." - Ansel Adams

Depth --

"Every artists dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures." - Henry Ward Beecher

Humor --

"Pictures must not be too picturesque." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thought --

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." - Elliott Erwitt

Wisdom --

"What art offers is space - a certain breathing room for the spirit." - John Updike

Curiosity -

"Sometimes the most interesting photographs don't answer a question -- they pose one." - Ryan Howard

Understanding --

"Art is the desire of a man to express himself, to record the reactions of his personality to the world he lives in." - Amy Lowell

Philosophy --

"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." - Ansel Adams

Pride --

"If we, citizens, do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams." - Yann Martel

Personality --

Life --

"Life just doesn't have any meaning if you don't take a little time for yourself every once in a while." - Zac Baker
